Victor Oladipo was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season. The Indiana Pacers went 3-0 over the past week.
Victor Oladipo picked a great time to win his third Eastern Conference Player of the Week award on the season. The Pacers guard helped push the Indiana Pacers to a 3-0 record last week, part of a longer 5-0 win streak.
Over the last week, Oladipo averaged 26 points, 6.7 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3.7 steals per game and shot 67.4% from the field over Indiana’s three wins.
Oladipo capped off his week with a 30 point, 12 assist, and 5 rebound performance in a win over the Los Angeles Clippers. The NBA only saw a stat line one other time this season when James Harden posted 35 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Nov. 9, 2017.

How do this week’s stats hold up against the other two times he was named the East’s Player of the Week?
- Week 24: 26 points, 6.7 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3.7 steals per game and shot 67.4%the field
- Week 8: 30.8 points, 7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.8 steals. Oladipo shot 51.2%
- Week 2: 28.7 points, 4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1 steal and shot 60.4%
If you added the averages for points, assists, rebounds, and steals in those weeks, it falls second (41.4) behind Week 8 (43.9) but ahead of Week 2 (36.4). For what its worth, Week 8 also saw a perfect Pacers record at 4-0, while Week 2 saw a 2-1 record.
As far as impact, it ends up just behind his second award, but as far as timing it couldn’t get much better for Oladipo and the Pacers.
The stats were great, but the three wins keep the Pacers in the hunt for the third seed in the Eastern Conference or at least a shot at home court advantage.
