1. Are the Flo Jos the best uniform the Indiana Pacers have ever worn?

Tim Donahue: No, but close. I’m partial to the 1972-73 ABA unis with the stripe that starts at one shoulder, then sweeps across to the other side and flows into the stripes on the shorts. They’ve worn both the white and the royal blue version as throwbacks, and the road blues were gorgeous. Flo Jos rank second, and after that, it’s the clean design of both their original ’67s (in white) and their current jerseys. Worst are all jerseys in yellow.

More from Pacers News

William Furr: The Flo Jos are my favorite when it comes to pure aesthetics. Those and the light blue road unis the wore from 1985 to 1990 are fantastic to look at. However, every person is going to define “best” differently, and for me, the best unis the Pacers donned were the pinstripes. My first real years of fandom were spent watching Reggie Miller, Jermaine O’Neal, and the rest of the rotating cast wearing the pinstripes in some of their best years on the court.

Jon Washburn: No, but they’re close. They are definitely better than the pin stripes and their current version, though I can’t say I’ve ever disliked ANY iteration of the Pacers’ uniforms (even the beautiful gold jerseys that Donahue despises). Personally, my all time favorites are these beauties from back in the day.

Whitney Medworth: Yes. The Flo Jos are the perfect representation of the ’90s, and considering the ’90s are my favorite decade there is no way I can pick against them. Also, Flo-Jo came in and designed these after a 28-54 season from the Pacers. Who says no to another Flo-Jo-inspired design for some new jerseys in 2015-2016?

Ben Gibson: I think so. Indiana has maintained a clean and steady look throughout the years, but the FloJos stand out from the back and add a little flavor to the franchise’s look. They aren’t a timeless look, but they’ve aged much better than many of their ’90s brethren.
