The Indiana Pacers have experienced a lot of roster turnover over the past few seasons. Whether it is trading a major player like Domantas Sabonis or simply moving on from a G League regular like Isaiah Wong, there are plenty of Pacers alumni who are now making their presence felt somewhere else. However, there are also quite a few familiar faces still struggling to find a new home.

Here are five of the most notable former Pacers who are free agents over two months into the season.

Oshae Brissett

Oshae Brissett spent parts of three seasons in Indiana from 2020 to 2023. The Canadian native departed the Pacers organization to join the Boston Celtics. In his season with the Celtics, he played a bench role but brought home an NBA championship.

After declining his $2.5 million player option last summer, Brissett is still a free agent, though he had previously revealed interest from another team. At this point, it is unclear when (or if) the 26-year-old will find a new home by the end of the season.

Justin Holiday

From 2019 to 2022, Justin Holiday played some good basketball for the Pacers. However, the team traded him to the Sacramento Kings as part of the deal that landed them Tyrese Haliburton. Since the trade, Holiday has bounced around the league, playing for the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, and Denver Nuggets.

In September, Holiday worked out for the Golden State Warriors, the team he played for during the 2014-15 season. Nothing came to fruition, however.

Victor Oladipo

Victor Oladipo played with the Pacers from 2017 to 2021 and helped usher in a new era. In his first year in Indiana, Oladipo became an All-Star, earned an All-NBA Team selection, and won the Most Improved Player award. Oladipo also earned an All-Star nod in his second season.

Unfortunately for the Maryland native, his career quickly took a hit. Over the past couple of seasons, he has played for the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat. However, he has only appeared in 50 games since the 2021-22 season and missed the entirety of last season.

Oladipo recently joined ESPN as an analyst. Though he has not officially retired from basketball, the 32-year-old may have already played his last game in the NBA.

Lance Stephenson

Lance Stephenson enjoyed three separate stints in Indiana that spanned across seven seasons. The Brooklyn native was a fan favorite with the Pacers and spent his most recent stint in the NBA with them in the 2021-22 season. Most recently, Stephenson played for the Iowa Wolves of the G League last season.

At this point, it is fair to assume the 34-year-old has stepped up on an NBA court for the final time. However, knowing the Pacers, it would not be too big of a shock if Stephenson finds his way back on the team one more time.

Thaddeus Young

Thaddeus Young played for the Pacers from 2016 to 2019. During that time, he started every game he appeared in, averaging 11.8 points and 6.3 rebounds. At 36 years old, Young, who played for the Toronto Raptors and Phoenix Suns last season, has yet to officially retire.

The New Orleans native has not played a consistent role on the court since the 2020-21 season. However, he provides a strong veteran presence. It is unlikely he returns to Indiana, but Young may have one more stint in him before calling it quits.
