NBA 2K19 will be released soon. The player rankings for each teams starting five were leaked recently, and the Indiana Pacers have some… interesting rankings.

Recently, it was discovered that the Fort Wayne Mad Ants are going to be a significant part of the NBA 2K19 video game. The Indiana Pacers G League affiliate will be featured heavily in the “MyCareer” mode.

But the game is much more than that one mode. You can play fake GM and take over your favorite team, you can go create your dream fictional team, or you can just play basketball, either against your friends or against a computer.

Simply playing basketball is easily the largest part of the game. Most diehards and users of the NBA 2K series enjoy operating with their favorite team in these fictional games.

Like in real sports, winning and losing is tracked in NBA 2K. That is why the manner in which players are rated matters to those who enjoy the game.

For those unfamiliar, a players rating is essentially a catch-all number that determines how good they are. LeBron James is the highest rated player at 98, and all other players are rated on a scale from roughly 60 through that 98 figure. Kevin Durant, for example, is a 97.

More from 8 Points, 9 Seconds

For those who use the Indiana Pacers in the game, knowing the ratings of the players on the team is a topic that is of interest to them. Recently, some of that information was leaked.

While we still do not know all of the player ratings, a video surfaced that shows us the ratings for each teams starting 5.

In said video, the Pacers are shown. Here are the ratings for the Indiana Pacers starting unit:

  • Darren Collison – 79
  • Victor Oladipo – 88
  • Bojan Bogdanovic – 79
  • Thaddeus Young – 78
  • Myles Turner – 80

I don’t even know where to begin. First of all, Thaddeus Young has the same rating as rookie Jarren Jackson Jr. in NBA 2K19. One of them is a multi-year veteran who has been a starter for multiple organizations. The other has never played an NBA game. You decide who’s better.

Hassan Whiteside, who was benched multiple times last season by the Miami Heat in lieu of Kelly Olynyk and Ba Adebayo, is rated five points higher than Myles Turner.

Apparently, Kris Dunn is nearly as talented of a basketball player as Darren Collison, the player who hit the highest percentage of his three-pointers in the NBA last season.

The list of complaints goes on an on. Watch the video for yourself if you want to see all the players. Some of the guys rated around Victor Oladipo are sure to annoy you.

Next. Lance Stephenson’s weird Pacers journey, so far…. dark

It should be noted that as the season begins and evolves, the NBA 2K19 developers will change the rankings to be more in line with what is happening in real life. Hopefully, once the season starts, they can improve some of the Pacers starting five ratings.
