Turner took a Robert Mathis pitch and belted it into the outfield and then it was off to the races for an inside the park home run.

Look at that man run.

Remember when Myles Turner was drafted and there were questions about his running gait? That man does move like a gazelle now, Tim Donahue.

Gait-gate is no more.

When I first heard the gait criticism when he was drafted, I expected him to run with both legs freely flying to the side of his body in an effort to stymie his forward progress.

But it was never that bad and one of the first things Indiana did do when they drafted him was work to improve his lower body strength to address that issue.

If there were any lingering questions — I don’t think there were, I’m pretty sure only weird Pacers bloggers remember that question about how he ran — about his running style, his home run should put those to bed.
