Glenn Robinson III missed most of the season with a leg injury, but that didn’t stop him from making Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets – NBA Edition 2018.
Glenn Robinson III’s season didn’t go as planned. A leg injury took him out for 58 games and consequently, made him a non-factor in the Indiana Pacers playoff rotations.
So one would think there isn’t a good reason to hate on Glenn. After all, if he was supposed to have a breakout season, his injury took him on a long detour to an uncertain future.
But because the internet is a terrible place, someone still said something mean to Glenn, earning him a spot on Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets — NBA Edition. The clip aired during ABC’s pre-game coverage for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
“What I, what I do to you?” Robinson responded to the tweet, incredulously. The tweet in question appears to have been deleted.

Former Indiana Pacer Jalen Rose also made it, thanks to his ‘Lego hair‘. I can’t unsee it now.
But seriously, who has a beef with Glenn Robinson after the tough year he had? He showed enough improvement to be a starter last season and had a real chance at breaking out in either a bench or starting role. If nothing else, his presence would hopefully push both Bojan Bogdanovic and Lance Stephenson to step up their games as well.
We don’t know what’s next for Robinson. Depending on what he wants and if the Pacers are interested in his services, there is a chance he stays around Indiana. But if he wants more opportunities to play — right now he is understandably buried deep in the rotation — then Indiana isn’t the right place for him.
It’s hard to nail down what his contract should be. He is young enough to expect growth, and he showed it two seasons ago. But we didn’t see enough of him the season to know for sure if his injury changed his game.
Next: Could the Pacers have been in the NBA Finals?
Hopefully, he remains with the Pacers. But fate may have sent him and Indiana in opposite directions.
