The 2nd Annual Basketball Day Indiana set for January 6th

The Indiana Pacers will cap off the 2nd Annual Basketball Day Indiana when they take on the Chicago Bulls on January 6.
With the Indiana Pacers new jerseys, we got their new motto, “We grow basketball here.” as a nod to the state’s rich basketball heritage.
But surprisingly until last year, the state of Indiana didn’t have a special day dedicate to the sport it loves.
Indiana is set to celebrate the 2nd Annual Basketball Day Indiana on January 6, with the Indiana Pacers capping off the day when they face the Chicago Bulls at 7 p.m.

Just like the first Basketball Day, it is a full slate according to the Pacers’ press release. This year it won’t just be Fox Sports Indiana covering the nine games played that from preps to the pros.

12:15 p.m. — Boys High School: New Albany vs. Silver Creek at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, FOX Sports Indiana

Last season the Pacers hosted the Portland Trail Blazers and picked up the win thanks to Paul George taking care of business late in the game. This season’s game against the Bulls should be a bit easier as Indiana already beat them once so far.
