Myles Turner appeared on ESPN’s The Jump earlier this week to talk about the Indiana Pacers. He also got advice from Stephen Jackson.

We’ve known it from the moment the Indiana Pacers drafted him, but Myles Turner looks and sounds great on TV. We saw this once again when he dropped by ESPN’s The Jump to talk about the Paul George trade, as well as other Pacers topics.

Turner says he found out when he woke up from a nap while visiting with the team at the Orlando Summer League.

Turner also said he knows the pressure is on him to fill the gap left by Paul George, a near impossible task, but he is optimistic thanks to the young talent on the team. There’s something funny about the 21-year old talking about getting young guys coming in, but Turner is the longest tenured Pacer now.

Turner said he is confident Indiana can sneak into the postseason, but we’ll see how that turns out.

More from 8 Points, 9 Seconds

But the second best part was when Rachel Nichols asked Turner to ask Stephen Jackson a question about the Pacers. Myles (jokingly) asked the one question that really has no answer: How do you satisfy Dan Burke as a coach?

Jackson praised Burke for his relentlessness, saying that’s how you get the best out of someone.

But the best part was Nichols joking with them that the best advice is that you shouldn’t go into the stands, something Jackson laughingly agreed with.

“Don’t follow Ron Artest into the stands,” Jackson said before jokingly defending himself by saying there were three Pacers in the stands during the Brawl.
