Imagining a dream roster around the face of the franchise
By Jacob Breece
Players to target – the front court
With shooting and scoring being selling points in our dream back-court, the front-court should focus on defense and rebounding.
Ideal Pairing: Robert Covington and Miles Bridges
This SF/ PF pairing would fit beautifully next to Turner in the starting lineup. Turner and Bridges would form one of the best front-courts in the league. Although slightly undersized as a tandem, the two would surely make up for it with elite athleticism, not to mention the spacing and offensive flow this pairing would provide with the array of skills each big possesses.

Robert Covington would provide Indy with quality shooting and defense as he is one of the best “3-and-D” players the NBA has to offer. His size and length should prove valuable in stopping the leagues most versatile position, small forward.
If Kevin Pritchard was more internally focused, he could consider Domantas Sabonis. Although Sabonis is a far cry from Bridges, he could help shore up rebounding on the interior as well as provide a front-court mate for Turner to grow alongside. (Also, Indy could be in position to land Bridges if the Pacers season goes as many predict it will.)
Glenn Robinson III could also be a prime breakout candidate for this young Pacer group. Look for Robinson III to push Bojan Bogdonavic for a starting position early with his “3-and-D” potential.
