Indiana Pacers forward Solomon Hill was the featured player in the Pun Gun segment of the Starters on Friday.

It was a Solomon Thrill for Indiana Pacers fans that caught Friday’s edition of The Drop podcast from the Starters as they picked Indiana Pacers guard Solomon Hill for this week’s Pun Gun Time.

Every week on their Friday episode, The Starters pick a player’s name from the NBA or someone from the NBA “family” and try to make as many puns as possible in the show’s segment.

You’ll need to skip to the 1:33:20 mark to hear the segment, but if you’re a fan of terrible puns, then it will be worth your time.

That wasn’t the only mention of the Pacers (or at least of a former Pacers player) because at the 1:07:20 mark of the podcast the crew updated the status of Scot Pollard on Survivor.

Spoiler alert: He was voted off.

More from 8 Points, 9 Seconds

Pacers.com has a great rundown of his entire stint of the 32nd season of the show, including how he was shockingly eliminated this week. Everything was looking great for Pollard as he and a few of his tribemates formed a powerful alliance, but the tables were turned on him this week.

"This power was only strengthened when Jason beat out all of the other contestants for individual immunity. He could not be voted in Episode 10. Jason gave his idol to Scot, Tai held the other and the plan was simple. The other group cannot vote out Jason, and if they vote either Scot or Tai, the two combine their idols and undo that decision. Giving the trio not only a guarantee to make it to the final seven, but put themselves in a great position to potentially make the final three. But the plan required full trust. Trust Pollard and Jason thought they had in Tai. However in a shocking twist, Scot received the most votes, but Tai refused to pair his idol with Scot, effectively tarnishing their plan and removing Pollard from the game.“It was complete shock,” Pollard said. “Strategically how does that make sense to Tai? I don’t see any strategic reason why it made sense for him to get rid of me. What sense does that make? You’d rather sit next to one of the girls in the final instead of one of the guys who the jury would never vote the winner? I’ve seen other people get eliminated and say they saw it coming. I didn’t see it coming. I was so shocked.”"

Sorry Scot, we were pulling for you.
