Fans think about all the money, fame, and fortune that comes with being an NBA player but they rarely get to know about the things that matter to a player.

Like who is Myles Turner’s favorite Disney Princess?

More from 8 Points, 9 Seconds

That was one of the questions the Indiana Pacers rookie answered during a Twitter Q&A with Pacers.com’s Wheat Hotchkiss.

Things started out normally enough as we learned that Myles doesn’t wear those glasses we saw on draft night just for looks. Unlike the Dwyane Wades and Russell Westbrooks of the league Turner needs corrective lenses to see 20/20. He ruled out wearing Horace Grant-style Rec-Specs and said you can expect him to wear contacts on the court. He also touched on his hair care routine later in the interview if you want to know how to get the “Do the Right Thing” Look.

But as far as basketball is concerned Turner wants to make an impact on the Indiana Pacers sooner rather than later.

“I want to make sure I establish myself early as someone who gets minutes right away. I want to come in there and just make an impact. Just come into a team like this that was right there on the bubble of the playoffs this year and make that extra jump,” Turner said.

After that things went downhill quickly when he was asked who his favorite Disney princess was. Turner spurned Cinderella, saying “I feel like Cinderella is so basic, and I’m just not a basic individual,” before deciding on Jasmine. Good choice, young fella.

Some may question his favorite sports team choice as he picked the Dallas Cowboys but he is a native Texan so most Indianapolis Colts fans may find room in their hearts to forgive him.

It got weirder after that when he was asked if he’d rather be a giant rodent or a tiny elephant. I’d suggest watching the video at Pacers.com if you want to hear him explain why he would pick being a tiny elephant. He also touches on how his parents helped get him started playing basketball from an early age before wrapping up the Q&A.

A”Day in the Life” of Myles Tuner sometimes involves strange questions from Twitter, but we’ll be getting to know more about him as a basketball player when the Orlando Summer League begins tomorrow,

That might matter a little more to Indiana Pacers fans.
