Rodney Stuckey practiced with his Indiana Pacers teammates on Saturday after scoring 30 points against the Philadelphia 76ers and injuring his ankle the night before.
Matt Glenesk of the Indianapolis Star tweeted a photo from practice on Saturday of Stuckey practicing, but noted that the reserve guard is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Golden State Warriors.
The injury highlights the story of the Pacers season: We don’t know exactly how good or bad Indiana is due to all the injuries, something Stuckey talked about with Glenesk.
"“We never really understood how good this team could be, just because of all the injuries we had,” Stuckey said after participating in Saturday’s practice. “Our team is finally getting healthy and we’ve been playing really good basketball of late. We just have to continue doing that.”"
We’ll have to wait until Sunday to see if Stuckey’s is ready, but while we’re talking about injuries let’s take a look at a few more tweets from Glenesk.
He had a few photos of Paul George shooting around in practice as well.
At least we know trainer Josh Corbeil, assistant trainer Carl Eaton and strength-and-conditioning coach Shawn Windle are earning their keep this season, as well as the rest of the medical staff.
