Pacers Loss to Hornets Was Lowest-Scoring Overtime Game Ever
By Jared Wade
I would like to personally wish all the best to all the Indiana Pacers fans who watched their favorite team lose to the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. It was a truly sad moment in franchise history, and you didn’t deserve this.
Anyone who tuned in or — god forbid — attended in person could attest to the fact that this game was a two-team collective failure pile for the ages. But as we learned from ESPN Stats & Info, the Indiana Pacers overtime loss truly was a historic performance.
With 151 combined points, the Pacers and Hornets played the lowest-scoring overtime game since the NBA introduced the shot clock in 1954.
Here are some other sensational By the Numbers figures from this epic “contest” that extended the Indiana Pacers’ losing streak to four games:

It was for all these reasons that I felt so sorry for Zach Lowe after I saw him tweet this out the morning after the game.
Plenty of others felt the same as me and tried to help Mr. Lowe get through this difficult time in his life. Hopefully he came away without any major cornea damage.
