Every Pacers player in history to wear #0
Throughout the entire history of the Indiana Pacers franchise, only five players have worn the No. 0 for the team. This includes the current star of the team, Tyrese Haliburton, who has been with the team since 2022.
Haliburton has played the best basketball of his career with the Pacers, and at just 24 years old, he should only continue to get better. Depending on how long he remains in Indiana, there is a serious chance he becomes the last player in Pacers history to wear No. 0 as the team could retire his jersey down the line.
At this point, the No. 0 Pacers jersey is synonymous with Haliburton, but who are all the players in team history to wear the jersey number?
Tyrese Haliburton (2022-present)
In his two-and-half-year tenure with the Pacers, Haliburton is a two-time All-Star and a one-time All-NBA Third Team selection. Last season, the Wisconsin native helped lead the Pacers to their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 2014. Additionally, the Pacers star is currently representing Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Reggie Perry (2022)
If you do not remember Reggie Perry with the Pacers, that is completely understandable. The forward played one game for the team in 2022 on a 10-day contract. In a loss to the Chicago Bulls, Perry recorded 2 points on 1-for-1 shooting and a rebound in 10 minutes.
Jalen Lecque (2020-21)
Much like Perry, Jalen Lecque's stint with the Pacers was very forgettable. The New York native appeared in four games for the Pacers during the 2020-21 season. In those games, he averaged 1.3 points and 1.3 rebounds.
Alex Poythress (2017-18)
Alex Poythress spent the 2017-18 season with the Pacers on a two-way contract. The Kentucky alum appeared in 25 games for the team. However, he was not very productive with the team. In his 25 appearances, he averaged 1 point while shooting 42.3% from the field.
CJ Miles (2014-17)
Of all the Pacers players to wear No. 0 before Haliburton, CJ Miles is easily the most memorable one. In three seasons with the Pacers, Miles averaged 12 points per game while shooting 41.2% from the field and 37.4% from the three-point line.
