On Friday night, the 0-4 Indiana Pacers will look to secure their first win of the season as they host the 2-3 Atlanta Hawks at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Additionally, this will mark each team's first NBA Cup game of the season.

The Pacers have lost each of their last two games against the Hawks and went 1-2 on the season series in 2024-25. On top of aiming to finally get in the win column for this season, they will also look to snap their losing ways against Atlanta.

Here is the full injury report for the Pacers and Hawks ahead of Friday night's Halloween matchup.

10/31 Pacers injury report vs. Hawks

  • Johnny Furphy (foot) - OUT
  • Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) - OUT
  • Kam Jones (back) - OUT
  • Bennedict Mathurin (toe) - OUT
  • T.J. McConnell (hamstring) - OUT
  • Andrew Nembhard (shoulder) - OUT
  • Taelon Peter (groin) - AVAILABLE
  • Obi Toppin (foot) - OUT

Second-year Pacers guard Johnny Furphy played one minute on opening night and has not touched the court since due to a bone bruise on his left foot. He was upgraded to questionable on Friday but has since been ruled out.

Heading into this season, many had high hopes for the Australian native, who is expected to take on an expanded role. Once he is good to go again, he will be a player worth monitoring, especially given Indiana's plethora of injuries it is dealing with.

Taelon Peter played 17 minutes for the Pacers during his NBA debut against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but he suffered a groin injury just two minutes into his second career game. He has yet to see the court again. However, he was upgraded to doubtful ahead of Indiana's game against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, and he is listed as available against the Hawks.

On Friday, head coach Rick Carlisle announced that Obi Toppin, who has been out of action since suffering a foot injury against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 26., will undergo foot surgery on Monday. He will be out of action until at least February.

There are no other changes to the Pacers' injury report.

10/31 Hawks injury report vs. Pacers

  • Nikola Djurisic (G League) - OUT
  • Eli Ndiaye (G League) - OUT
  • Trae Young (knee) - OUT

Hawks All-Star guard Trae Young suffered a sprained right knee during the team's victory against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. After the game, head coach Quin Snyder said he is unsure how long Young will be out for, but it is not an ACL injury (h/t Tim Bontemps of ESPN).

"The most important thing is it is not his ACL," Snyder said after the game. "He's going to get an MRI tonight or tomorrow, and make a determination from there. Not sure how long or what respect, but something he's hopefully going to be back from whenever possible."

Fortunately for Young and the Hawks, it seems that he has avoided a serious injury. However, the 27-year-old will not suit up in Indiana as he is officially ruled out.

Second-round rookie forward Nikola Djurisic has yet to play an NBA game this season, and he is out against the Pacers due to a G League assignment.

Additionally, undrafted rookie Eli Ndiaye also has yet to make his NBA debut. He is on a two-way contract and is also out against the Pacers.
