After stealing Game 1 on the road on Sunday, the Indiana Pacers will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night in hopes of taking a 2-0 series lead back home. While they were far from flawless, the Pacers played great basketball on both sides of the ball against Cleveland and will aim to do more of the same in Game 2.
Here is the full injury report for the Pacers and Cavaliers for Game 2.
Pacers Game 2 injury report vs. Cavaliers
- Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) - OUT
Pacers big man Isaiah Jackson suffered a season-ending Achilles tear early in the season and will not suit up against Cleveland. Outside of Jackson, there are no Pacers on the injury report.
Cavaliers Game 2 injury report vs. Pacers
- Darius Garland (toe) - QUESTIONABLE
- De'Andre Hunter (thumb) - QUESTIONABLE
- Evan Mobley (ankle) - QUESTIONABLE
Cleveland's All-Star point guard Darius Garland has missed three consecutive games, including the team's Game 1 loss to the Pacers, due to a toe injury. Garland remains on the Cavaliers' injury report and is listed as questionable.
The Cavaliers added a couple of notable names to their injury report, including Evan Mobley. Mobley is now listed as questionable due to an ankle injury. The 2024-25 Defensive Player of the Year recorded 20 points on 9-for-13 shooting, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals during Cleveland's Game 1 loss.
In addition to Mobley, the Cavaliers added De'Andre Hunter to the injury report due to a thumb injury. Like Garland and Mobley, Hunter is listed as questionable. In Game 1, Hunter played 30 minutes off the bench for the Cavaliers and scored 11 points on 4-for-8 shooting. Additionally, he recorded four rebounds and one assist.
Pacers vs. Cavaliers Game 2 outlook
The Pacers and Cavaliers will face off for Game 2 on Tuesday night at 7 PM EST on TNT.
Though it will not decide the winner of the series on its own, winning Game 2 is crucial for both teams. For the Pacers, a Game 2 victory would give them a 2-0 series lead heading back to Indiana. This would put them in the driver's seat and in a great position to win the series and make their second consecutive conference finals appearance.
As for Cleveland, they must do whatever they can to avoid going down 0-2 in the series. While it is not unheard of, it is difficult for teams to overcome such a deficit and win the series. Furthermore, with them having a few key players on their injury report, there is a decent chance that it only gets worse for Cleveland on Tuesday.
