The 1-10 Indiana Pacers will conclude their four-game road trip on Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET against the 7-5 Phoenix Suns, who are on the second half of a back-to-back after defeating the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
After trading Kevin Durant and waiving Bradley Beal in the offseason, many expected the Suns to be near the bottom of the standings this season. They missed the postseason last season, and their outlook didn't look too bright as they re-tooled their roster. However, so far, they look great as they own the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference and have won six of their last seven games.
Indiana has won each of its last three games against the Suns, dating back to the 2023-24 season. This will be both teams' first time going head-to-head this season.
Here is the full injury report for the Pacers and Suns ahead of Thursday night's game.
11/13 Pacers injury report vs. Suns
- Johnny Furphy (foot) - OUT
- Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) - OUT
- Quenton Jackson (hamstring) - OUT
- Kam Jones (back) - OUT
- Cody Martin (illness) - OUT
- Bennedict Mathurin (toe) - OUT
- Obi Toppin (foot) - OUT
The Pacers added Cody Martin to the injury report due to an illness, and he will not play on Thursday.
Besides Martin, there are no surprises on the Pacers' injury report. However, it is notable that the team did not list T.J. McConnell, who did not suit up in the second half during his season debut against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.
11/13 Suns injury report vs. Pacers
- Jalen Green (hamstring) - OUT
- Mark Williams (injury management) - OUT
Jalen Green, who Phoenix acquired from the Houston Rockets as part of the Durant trade, missed the team's first eight games of the season after aggravating a hamstring injury he suffered during training camp. The 23-year-old made his team debut against the Los Angeles Clippers on Nov. 6 and recorded 29 points on 10-for-20 shooting, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 23 minutes.
Unfortunately for Green and the Suns, he re-aggravated the injury during the team's victory against the Clippers just two days later after seven minutes. The California native has been out of action since, and he is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks due to the injury.
Mark Williams, who the Suns traded for from the Charlotte Hornets in the offseason, has played in all but one game for the team so far this season. However, he will not play on Thursday due to right knee injury management.
The Duke alum is averaging 11.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1 block per game while shooting 60.2% from the floor.
