The Spurs have ruled Victor Wembanyama out for Friday's game due to left knee soreness. Wembanyama suffered a knee injury during San Antonio's victory against the New York Knicks on New Year's Eve. His injury is reportedly just a hyperextension, his MRI showed no ligament damage, and he is considered day-to-day. Still, he will be out against Indiana.
Through 21 games this season, the French native has averaged 24.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.9 blocks while shooting 52.5% from the field and 36.5% from deep.
Devin Vassell missed his first game of the season against the Knicks and remains out against the Pacers due to a left adductor strain. Through 32 games this season, the Georgia native has averaged 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists on 42.2% shooting from the field and 37.9% shooting from beyond the arc.
