The Indiana Pacers are in the midst of an eight-game losing streak and are set to stay on the road and take on the 19-10 Houston Rockets on Monday night at 8 p.m. ET.
This game will mark the first of two head-to-head matchups between the teams this season. Indiana is 9-1 in its last 10 games against the Rockets, though they each took a game against each other during their season series in 2024-25.
Here is the full injury report for the Pacers and Rockets ahead of Monday night's game.
12/29 Pacers injury report vs. Rockets
- Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) - OUT
- Jay Huff (ankle) - AVAILABLE
- Isaiah Jackson (concussion) - OUT
- T.J. McConnell (hamstring) - AVAILABLE
- Ben Sheppard (calf) - OUT
- Obi Toppin (foot) - OUT
The Pacers initially listed Jay Huff as questionable on Monday due to a left ankle sprain, but he has since been upgraded and will be available to play.
Huff had a fantastic end to the month of November, but he has mostly struggled in December, shooting 41.8% from the field and 25.4% from deep across his last 12 games. This includes him shooting just 4-for-28 (14.3%) from beyond the arc over his last six games.
T.J. McConnell missed Indiana's loss to the Miami Heat on Saturday due to hamstring soreness, but he is available to make his return against the Rockets.
The Pacers upgraded Ben Sheppard, who has been on the shelf since Dec. 3 due to a left calf strain, as questionable to play. However, he has since been downgraded and will be out once again.
12/29 Rockets injury report vs. Pacers
- Isaiah Crawford (G League) - OUT
- Alperen Sengun (calf) - OUT
- Tyler Smith (G League) - OUT
- Fred VanVleet (knee) - OUT
The Rockets ruled Alperen Sengun out against the Pacers due to a left soleus strain. This will mark the second consecutive missed game for the Turkish native. Through 26 games this season, Sengun has averaged 22.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1 block while shooting 50.8% from the field.
Fred VanVleet suffered a torn ACL during an offseason workout. He underwent surgery in September and is expected to miss most, if not all, of this season.
Isaiah Crawford and Tyler Smith are both on two-way contracts and will not suit up against Indiana.
