Pacers vs. Pistons injury report: Bennedict Mathurin update, Cade Cunningham, more

On Monday night, the 1-12 Indiana Pacers will head back on the road to take on the 11-2 Detroit Pistons, who currently own the No. 1 seed in the East and have won nine straight.

The Pacers won last season's series 3-1. Additionally, they have won seven of their last eight games against Detroit.

Here is the full injury report for the Pacers and Pistons ahead of their first matchup of the season.

Bennedict Mathurin has been out of action since he suffered a toe injury in Indiana's second game of the season: a 123-108 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. However, ahead of Monday's game against Detroit, the Pacers have listed him as questionable.

In the two games he played this season, the Canadian native led the team in scoring both times, averaging 31 points on 54.8% shooting from the field and 50% from deep. Additionally, he averaged 7 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

There are no other changes to the Pacers' injury report.

Pistons guard Cade Cunningham has missed each of the team's last two games and is questionable on Monday night due to a hip injury. In 11 games this season, the one-time All-Star is averaging 27.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 9.9 assists, and 1.4 steals.

Jalen Duren, who is in the midst of a breakout campaign, is listed as probable against the Pacers with an ankle injury. The Delaware native missed each of Detroit's last two games. On the year so far, he is averaging 19.4 points, 12 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 64.7% from the floor.

Tobias Harris has missed each of the Pistons' last seven games due to an ankle injury, and he will be out once again on Monday.

The Pistons have been without Jaden Ivey after he suffered a fibula injury in January. He still has no concrete timetable for his return, but he has recently been getting shots up in shootaround, which indicates that he is getting closer.

Second-year forward Bobi Klintman came back from injury on Nov. 7, but the team has listed him as out against Indiana with an ankle injury.

Marcus Sasser has yet to make his season debut due to a hip injury. He is expected to be re-evaluated in a few weeks, and he will not play on Monday.

Pistons young star Ausar Thompson has missed three consecutive games due to an ankle injury, and he is listed as questionable to suit up against the Pacers.
