The Indiana Pacers have won two consecutive games and four of their last five. They own sole possession of the No. 4 seed in the East by one game and are even just three games behind the New York Knicks for the No. 3 seed. The Pacers will have their next opportunity to secure a victory when they take on the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. This game marks the first of a two-game series against the Nets as both teams will also meet up on Saturday.
So far, the Pacers and Nets have gone head-to-head twice, with each team winning a game. While Indiana has been hot recently, the Nets are just 3-12 in their last 15 games. They are six games behind the No. 10 seed Miami Heat, and a postseason appearance this year is not likely.
