The Indiana Pacers defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night. With this victory, they have secured homecourt advantage and are looking good with the playoffs approaching. However, they still have two games left on the schedule, including a matchup against the Orlando Magic on Friday night.
Indiana is 1-2 against the Magic this season, so they will look to tie the season series up with a win on Friday. This is the Pacers' final home game of the regular season. Like the Pacers, the Magic have already secured their spot in the standings as they have clinched the No. 7 seed in the East.

The Pacers' entire starting five has been ruled out against Orlando. Given that the Pacers have clinched homecourt advantage, it is clear that they are prioritizing health above everything else this late in the season.
As for Ben Sheppard, he remains on the Pacers' injury report. He was initially listed as doubtful and has since been officially ruled out for the game.

Paolo Banchero, who scored 50 points in his only game against the Pacers this season, will not play on Friday due to an ankle injury. Banchero has not missed a game since January 9. Additionally, the Magic's other top forward, Franz Wagner, will not suit up against the Pacers either due to a knee injury. Wagner has appeared in every game for Orlando since January 23.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has missed just four games in his first season with the Magic, including just two since the start of February. However, the two-time champion will not play against the Pacers due to a knee injury.
Magic big man Wendell Carter Jr. has appeared in every game for the team since November 27. However, he is out against Indiana with a hip injury.
Former Pacers guard Cory Joseph, who has started each of his last 14 games for Orlando, popped up on the injury report with a knee injury. However, he has since been listed as available to play against his former team.
Three-time Slam Dunk Contest winner Mac McClung has only appeared in two games for the Magic this season and will not play against the Pacers due to a G League assignment. Additionally, rookie Ethan Thompson has yet to make his NBA debut this year and will also not play against the Pacers.
Jalen Suggs and Moritz Wagner each suffered season-ending knee injuries in January and December, respectively. Both players underwent successful surgery, but neither of them will suit up the rest of the way for Orlando.
