The Indiana Pacers, who are now the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference, will travel to Utah to take on the Jazz for the first game of their four-game road trip. This marks the first time these two teams will face off against one another this season.
While the Pacers, who have still only lost two games since the start of 2025, are in a good spot to make another playoff run this year, the Jazz are in a different situation. With an 11-36 record, Utah has the worst record in the Western Conference and the second-worst record in the league, only ahead of the Washington Wizards. Furthermore, they have won just two of their last 13 games.

Pacers big man Myles Turner appears on the injury report due to an ankle injury. At this point, it is unclear how serious his injury is. However, if he is forced to miss time, the Pacers will likely start Thomas Bryant in his place.
Rookie Enrique Freeman, who is a candidate to have his two-way contract converted to a standard one by the end of the season, is listed as doubtful against Utah. In addition to being on a two-way contract, he is reportedly dealing with an illness. Freeman has stepped on the court just once for the Pacers since the turn of the calendar and is unlikely to play tonight.

Mo Bamba and P.J. Tucker, who were each traded to the Jazz from the Los Angeles Clippers over the weekend, are not expected to suit up for the team at all. According to HoopsHype's Michael Scotto, the Jazz are expected to buy Tucker out if the team is unable to flip him in another trade. As for Bamba, the Jazz are reportedly set to waive him once the trade becomes official.
Another recent Jazz acquisition, Jalen Hood-Schifino, will also not play for the team against the Pacers. The Indiana alum was traded to the team from the Los Angeles Lakers as part of the historic three-way deal that sent Luka Doncic to L.A. and Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks.
Despite being listed on the injury report due to a finger injury, Jazz guard Collin Sexton is expected to be available for the team. On the year, the Alabama alum is averaging 18.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.
Taylor Hendricks, the ninth overall pick in the 2023 draft, suffered a season-ending fibula fracture and ankle dislocation after three games. Cody Williams, who was the 10th pick in last year's draft, has been out of action since January 20 due to an ankle injury, though he will be re-evaluated in the coming days.
Old friend Oscar Tshiebwe, who is on a two-way deal in Utah, has appeared in just three games this season and will not see the court tonight against the Pacers.
