After losing their first game of the season, 141-135, in a double-overtime thriller against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Indiana Pacers will look to get their first win of the season on Saturday night on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Memphis won its first game of the season against the New Orleans Pelicans before getting blown out by the Miami Heat, 146-114, on Friday night.

Each team split their season series last season, with Indiana winning the last matchup in February.

Both teams will look to get things back on track when they go head-to-head on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Here is the full injury report for the Pacers and Grizzlies ahead of their first matchup of the 2025-26 NBA season.

10/25 Pacers injury report vs. Grizzlies

  • Johnny Furphy (foot) - OUT
  • Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) - OUT
  • Quenton Jackson (hamstring) - OUT
  • Kam Jones (back) - OUT
  • T.J. McConnell (hamstring) - OUT
  • Andrew Nembhard (shoulder) - OUT

The Pacers have two notable additions to their injury report: Andrew Nembhard and Johnny Furphy.

Nembhard left Indiana's game against the Thunder after 17 minutes due to a shoulder strain. He did not play at all in the second half and has been ruled out against Memphis.

While the exact severity of his injury is not entirely known, it is clear that the Pacers are going to play this as safely as possible. In the Canadian native's absence, the team will continue to rely on Taelon Peter and Ben Sheppard to take on point guard duties. Additionally, it would not be a surprise if RayJ Dennis, who is on a two-way contract, gets some playing time on Saturday.

As for Furphy, he was dealing with an ankle injury heading into the season and played just one minute against Oklahoma City. However, he has now popped up on the injury report due to a sore foot. He was initially listed as questionable but has since been downgraded.

There are no other changes to the Pacers' injury report.

10/25 Grizzlies injury report vs. Pacers

  • Santi Aldama (knee) - AVAILABLE
  • Brandon Clarke (knee) - OUT
  • Zach Edey (ankle) - OUT
  • Ty Jerome (calf) - OUT
  • Ja Morant (ankle) - AVAILABLE
  • Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) - OUT
  • Vince Williams Jr. (heel) - OUT

Grizzlies star Ja Morant popped up on the team's injury report on Friday with ankle soreness. Though he ultimately suited up against Miami, there were some concerns that he would sit out on the second night of the back-to-back. However, the two-time All-Star was removed from the injury report and is set to play against the Pacers.

Santi Aldama popped up on Memphis' injury report on Saturday due to right knee soreness, but he is available to play.

Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke underwent a knee procedure in September and will be re-evaluated in November. He is out against Indiana.

Zach Edey underwent ankle surgery in June and is expected to return in the near future, possibly as soon as early November. However, he is still on the shelf and will not suit up on Saturday.

The Grizzlies signed Ty Jerome to a three-year, $27.7 million contract in the offseason. However, after suffering a calf strain in preseason, he has yet to make his Grizzlies debut. He will be re-evaluated in about four weeks.

Scotty Pippen Jr. underwent surgery on his left big toe just before the start of the season and will be re-evaluated in 12 weeks. He will likely miss the rest of the calendar year, with a return in January possible.

Memphis guard Vince Williams Jr. has yet to suit up this season due to right heel soreness, and he will continue to be on the sidelines as he is out against the Pacers.
