After having lost two of their last three games, the Indiana Pacers will host the Chicago Bulls on Sunday and hope to get back on track. This marks the third game between the division rivals this season, with the Pacers having won both of the previous two games.
While the Bulls have not been too successful recently, having lost seven of their last nine games, they have won two of their last three. With a 24-36 record, they own the No. 10 seed in the East and will likely be a Play-In team this season.
Here is the full injury report for Sunday's game between the Pacers and the Bulls.
3/2 Pacers injury report vs. Bulls
- RayJ Dennis (G League) - QUESTIONABLE
- Enrique Freeman (G League) - QUESTIONABLE
- Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) - OUT
- Quenton Jackson (G League) - QUESTIONABLE
- Bennedict Mathurin (wrist) - OUT
The most notable name on the Pacers' injury report is Bennedict Mathurin, who missed the team's loss against the Heat due to a wrist injury. Recently, head coach Rick Carlisle said that Mathurin will be sidelined "for probably a couple games at least."
"We're gonna shut him down for probably a couple games at least," Carlisle said. "Get him back to where he needs to be. It's that time of year where everybody's been through a lot of wear and tear and a lot of grinding. With him, you know for him to miss a game there's gotta be some things going wrong here. We'll get him right."
It is unclear if the Pacers are just playing it safe, or if Mathurin's injury is a legitimate problem. Either way, his status for the near future is something to monitor as he plays an important role on the court.
