After a five-day rest, the Indiana Pacers return to the court to take on the Philadelphia 76ers. The Pacers will travel on the road for one game before returning to Indiana to take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.
With a 10-15 record, the Pacers are hoping to bounce back and restart after their break with a victory over the 76ers. The 76ers are currently on a two-game winning streak. Due to their slow start to the season, however, they are still just 7-15.
These two teams met once already this season on October 27th. Despite not having Joel Embiid or Paul George in the game, the 76ers defeated the Pacers in Indiana. Tonight, the Pacers will look to get their revenge over the 76ers.

- Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) - OUT
- Aaron Nesmith (ankle) - OUT
- Ben Sheppard (oblique) - OUT
- James Wiseman (Achilles) - OUT
The Pacers continue to be without Aaron Nesmith and Ben Sheppard, who are recovering from an ankle injury and oblique injury, respectively. Unfortunately, neither player has a concrete timetable for their return, though head coach Rick Carlisle recently shed some light on when Pacers fans can expect Nesmith and Sheppard to return.
A few days ago, Carlisle revealed that Nesmith is still "weeks away" from returning to action. Nesmith has only appeared in six games this season and has been sidelined since November 1. It is likely the Pacers will roll into the New Year before Nesmith makes his return. Furthermore, Carlisle revealed that Sheppard is closer to a return, though it is still unknown when it will happen.

- Caleb Martin (shoulder) - OUT
The 76ers, who have had an injury-plagued season to this point, have just two entries on their injury report. Rookie big man Adem Bona has been sidelined since the 76ers' loss to the Orlando Magic on December 4. He currently has no timetable for his return. Caleb Martin, who has only missed two games this season, will also be out of action against Indiana due to a shoulder injury.
What is most notable about the 76ers' injury report, however, is the absences of Joel Embiid and Paul George. Both players have missed significant time this season but are each set to play against the Pacers.
