Tonight, the Indiana Pacers will travel down south to take on the Houston Rockets. This is Indiana's second game of their three-game road trip.
The Pacers, who stand at 6-8, have lost three of their last four games. This includes a 130-119 loss to the Toronto Raptors, who had the worst record in the league at the time, on Monday night. Indiana will look to get back on track tonight, but it will prove difficult.
Houston, on the other hand, is 10-5, and have the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference. The Rockets recently lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in a close 101-100 game. This ended their prior five-game winning streak. Tonight will be a good chance for each team to end their one-game losing streak and get the ball rolling again. Which team will come out on top, however, remains to be seen.
Here is the full injury report for the Pacers-Rockets game tonight, including a status update on big man Moses Brown, who the Pacers signed just a couple of days ago.
11/20 Pacers injury report vs. Rockets
- Moses Brown (recently signed) - AVAILABLE
- Johnny Furphy (hand) - QUESTIONABLE
- Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) - OUT
- Andrew Nembhard (knee) - OUT
- Ben Sheppard (oblique) - QUESTIONABLE
- Myles Turner (calf) - QUESTIONABLE
- Jarace Walker (illness) - QUESTIONABLE
- James Wiseman (Achilles) - OUT
Moses Brown, according to Tony East, is in Houston and is available to make his Pacers debut tonight. It is unknown how much he will play. However, given Myles Turner's status, especially considering he missed the Pacers' last game against the Raptors, there is reason to believe Brown may be Indiana's only available center tonight.
Furthermore, Ben Sheppard, who also missed the Pacers' loss to Toronto, is listed as questionable due to his oblique injury. If he returns tonight, he will likely be re-inserted into the starting lineup as Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith continue to miss time.
The presumed replacement for Sheppard in the starting lineup, if he misses this game as well, is Jarace Walker. However, the Pacers have listed him as questionable due to an illness.
The Pacers also list Johnny Furphy as questionable after he suffered a hand injury on Monday night that forced him to leave the game early.
11/20 Rockets injury report vs. Pacers
- Jalen Green (illness) - QUESTIONABLE
- Cam Whitmore (knee) - QUESTIONABLE
The Rockets are in danger of being without Jalen Green for the first time this season due to an illness. After a hot start to the season, Green has come back down to Earth a bit, averaging 16.4 points on 38.7% shooting in his last seven games.
Additionally, Houston could be without Cam Whitmore for the eighth consecutive game as he is still dealing with a knee injury.
