Pacers injury report vs. Pistons: Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris, and more
The Indiana Pacers are rolling right now as they are on a three-game winning streak and aim to continue their run against the Detroit Pistons tonight. This game marks the end of Indiana's four-game homestand as they prepare for a four-game road trip.
Tonight's battle against Detroit is the Pacers' second of the season. The two teams faced each other in their first game of the regular season, one that ended in a 115-109 win for the Pacers. Since then, the Pistons' season has not been too successful as they currently own an 8-12 record.
Additionally, tonight marks Indiana's final home game of the NBA Cup tournament this season. They are 0-2 so far in the tournament. The Pistons, on the other hand, are 2-0.
Here is the full injury report for tonight's Pacers-Pistons NBA Cup matchup.
11/29 Pacers injury report
- Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) - OUT
- Andrew Nembhard (knee) - OUT
- Aaron Nesmith (ankle) - OUT
- Ben Sheppard (oblique) - OUT
- James Wiseman (Achilles) - OUT
There are no surprises regarding Indiana's injury report. However, Aaron Nesmith and Andrew Nembhard, who have each multiple weeks in November, should return to the court soon. In their absences, the Pacers have relied more heavily on Bennedict Mathurin and Quenton Jackson. Once Nembhard and Nesmith return, it is likely that Mathurin and/or Jackson will have a smaller role in the rotation.
11/29 Pistons injury report
- Cade Cunningham (hip) - QUESTIONABLE
- Tobias Harris (hip) - QUESTIONABLE
- Bobi Klintman (calf) - OUT
Cade Cunningham has been out of action for Detroit for over a week due to a hip injury. In the three games they have played without him, the Pistons are 1-2. Although he is listed as questionable, the former No. 1 overall draft pick participated in the Pistons' shootaround on Friday, making it more likely that he will play against the Pacers.
Cunningham is in the midst of a career year. In 17 games, he is averaging 23.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 8.9 assists. Additionally, he is shooting 43.8% from the field and 35.8% from beyond the arc.
Tobias Harris, who re-joined the Pistons in the offseason, missed the team's last game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Like Cunningham, Harris participated in shootaround on Friday despite being listed as questionable.
The Pistons will also remain to be without rookie forward Bobi Klintman, who has yet to make his NBA debut. Klintman is dealing with a calf injury and does not have an official timetable for his on-court return.
