The Indiana Pacers are up 3-1 in their series against the Cleveland Cavaliers and are just one win away from their second straight conference finals appearance. Despite being the underdogs in the series, the Pacers have more than held their own against the Cavaliers and have outplayed them for much of the series. On Tuesday night, they will have their opportunity to complete the upset and get a little bit closer to their ultimate goal of bringing an NBA title to Indiana.

As for the Cavaliers, they will look to make a 3-1 comeback in the series. While it was a completely different era, the Cavaliers (who had LeBron James and Kyrie Irving at the time) notoriously pulled off a 3-1 comeback in the 2016 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. Though the Pacers are in a good spot, they must still keep that in mind.

Here is the full injury report ahead of Tuesday night's Game 5 between the Pacers and Cavaliers, including the latest injury updates on All-Star Donovan Mitchell.

Pacers Game 5 injury report vs. Cavaliers

  • Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) - OUT

There are no surprises on the Pacers' injury report. Isaiah Jackson, who suffered an Achilles tear early in the season, is out for the season and will not play in the playoffs.

Cavaliers Game 5 injury report vs. Pacers

  • Donovan Mitchell (ankle) - AVAILABLE
  • Sam Merrill (neck) - OUT

The Cavaliers dealt with numerous injuries throughout their playoff run so far, and that continued after Donovan Mitchell suffered an ankle injury in Game 4 and missed the entire second half. Initially listed as a game-time decision, Mitchell has been upgraded to available and will start for Cleveland.

In four games against the Pacers this series, Mitchell averaged 34 points, 5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.8 steals. He is crucial to Cleveland's success and was a big reason they finished the regular season with the best record in the East. Even though he is able to go on Tuesday night, it will still be difficult for the Cavaliers to keep their season alive.

Sam Merrill was a late addition to the Cavaliers' injury report due to a neck injury, and he will not suit up in Game 5.
