There are a host of different power forwards that the Pacers could pursue this offseason. We have listed every power forward that is scheduled to hit the market as well and is under the age of 30, meaning there is a chance they fit the Pacers timeline. A full list at all positions can be found here. Who would you be interested in picking up?

The young guns, but likely flawed

This first list of power forwards are guys that are still relatively young in their NBA careers (20-25). The downside to this list is that each player likely has a decent flaw in their game, hence why they are available so early on in their careers. There are a few that may be valuable to the Pacers however. Do you have any interest?

  • Wenyen Gabriel (26)
  • Jalen McDaniels (25)
  • Marquese Chriss (25)
  • Tyler Cook (25)
  • Michael Foster Jr. (19)
  • Juwan Morgan (25)
  • KZ Okapala (23)
  • Reggie Perry (22)

The guys looking for a second contract

The next set of guys are players that are older (25-30) and are likely looking for a decent second or third contract in their careers. Many of them don’t have major flaws, however, some are veteran journeyman that haven’t made an impact at any stop. Do you see any you would go for?

  • Jerami Grant (29)
  • Trey Lyles (28)
  • Dario Saric (29)
  • Christian Wood (28)
  • Jarrell Brantley (26)
  • Gary Clark (28)
  • Juancho Hernangomez (27)
  • Alize Johnson (26)
  • Jabari Parker (27)
  • Chris Silva (26)
  • Noah Vonleh (27)
  • D.J. Wilson (26)

The Pacers may be best drafting a top power forward in the draft rather than signing one.

It looks like much of the market will be a bit of a stretch in terms of fit. The majority of them have a major flaw, and only a few of them are starter-worthy in the NBA. The Pacers may be wise to look at one of a handful of power forwards in the upcoming draft.
