The Indiana Pacers remain linked to many names ahead of the 2023 NBA Trade Deadline. At this point, it’s safe to assume that the rumor mill involving the team will only slow down when it passes given the multitude of players touted as potential trade targets for the Blue and Gold.

In fact, another increasingly popular name has been floated around Pacers circles: Jarred Vanderbilt. Having a strong season as one of the biggest factors behind the Utah Jazz’s surprisingly good season, the 6”9 big man is expected to have a lot of suitors via trade in the upcoming weeks.

The Indiana Pacers have been linked to Utah’s Jarred Vanderbilt

HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reported that the Pacers have maintained interest in a potential trade for Vanderbilt, whom Utah is making widely available in trade talks in light of Walker Kessler’s rise and promotion to the starting lineup.

The Pacers’ need for more clarity at the power forward position is no secret — a fact adduced by the team’s reported pursuit of other trade candidates in the position earlier. On the surface, Vanderbilt is someone who can greatly help Indiana, but does the team have the assets and the guts to try and outbid other suitors and entice the Jazz into a potential trade?

Here’s a trade proposal to give fans a idea of what a trade framework for the Jazzman could look like.
