A new article has listed out 5 different trades that the Pacers absolutely should make prior to the trade deadline. In this article, we list them out and discuss why the Pacers should or should not do each of them.

5. Trading for an oft-injured much-needed forward

Chris Duarte has been having a bit of a down year, but has looked much better in recent games. This trade would send him down to Orlando for a player that has sat out significant amounts of time early in his career for injuries. The trade certainly has risk, but would the Pacers potentially lose much?

Duarte is in a crowded shooting guard rotation, and thus, is not getting the playing time he is going to need to develop. Jonathan Isaac recently returned from injury and has looked like he can become the great player he was prior to the injury. He is shooting 52% from the field and 44% from three.

Our thoughts?

This would be an A trade that the Pacers should absolutely go after if given the chance.
