The Pacers are in a position to potentially solidify their starting lineup for the future. By signing Myles Turner to an extension, the Pacers signaled that they believe that they have many of the pieces needed to make a playoff push in years to come.

The biggest weakness that still exists on the team would be at power forward, where the team has traditionally struggled to find a natural fit, instead using centers such as Myles Turner or Jalen Smith to fill the need in the past couple of years.

Now would be the time to make a move for a power forward given there are notable players on the trade market such as John Collins and OG Anunoby. Given the Pacers need at the position, these types of power forwards may be the exact thing we need to make a playoff push.

Bleacher Report came out with a trade that the Pacers were involved in that brought in both the San Antonio Spurs and the Atlanta Hawks in order to make the deal happen. It’s a very complicated trade idea, but the question is, would it be worth it for the Pacers to do?
