One constant area of need for the Indiana Pacers is at the forward position. For years the franchise has struggled to lock up the forward rotation with players that are more than just low-end rotation pieces. Additionally, Jalen Smith hasn’t looked to be the answer long-term at the forward position. Lucky for us, there is currently a small forward in New York City that appears to be primed and ready to move to a new team.
For multiple games now, Cam Reddish has been a healthy scratch for the New York Knicks. It appears that Reddish is wanting to be traded from the Knicks and that the Knicks are willing to potentially oblige. There are multiple teams that have been linked to Cam Reddish trade rumors, but the Indiana Pacers and Cam Reddish are a match made in heaven.
When Reddish was with Atlanta, he was averaging double-figure points on 38% three point shooting. Additionally, Reddish has the length and athleticism to be a decent defender. In Atlanta he consistently had positive defensive win-shares, so at a minimum, he isn’t a liability on defense.
Let’s look at a potential Cam Reddish trade to the Indiana Pacers.
