Player grades for the Indiana Pacers bench against the Wizards

Bennedict Mathurin: B

Ben Mathurin failed to crack 20 points this time, which is honestly the standard for him at this point (hah), but he played the second-most minutes on the team and certainly delivered. He was a tad more tentative this time, but still managed to finish with 15 points and eight rebounds, draining three triples.

Isaiah Jackson: B+

Isaiah Jackson’s second-quarter run as the lone big man was not ideal in the slightest, but he still managed to convert on all of his shots. Coach Carlisle called him the difference in this game, and you can’t argue with that!

TJ McConnell: B

McConnell coughed the ball up thrice, but his six assists, second-best on the team, ignited the squad, especially in their furious fourth-quarter run.

Aaron Nesmith: B

Simply draining a couple of treys is a good sign for Aaron Nesmith, whose three-point shot has been shaky to begin the season.

Oshae Brissett: B

Oshae Brissett played 15 minutes! And he didn’t look unplayable offensively. If this keeps up, expect him to be the coaching staff’s option against lanky teams like the Raptors.

Next. Shocking comparison shows the Pacers actually dodged a bullet. dark
