After a relatively long wait, the Indiana Pacers’ schedule for the 2021-22 NBA season has finally arrived. With the league returning to a full 82-game campaign for the first time since 2019 after two, COVID-19-impacted seasons, a big step towards normalcy, at least for the association, is now in the margins.

While the Pacers will once again be relegated on the side with only a handful of national TV games on deck for the team, the upcoming season will shed a light on how far the current core can fare, especially with many of the Blue and Golds’ key players, like Malcolm Brogdon, TJ Warren and Caris LeVert yet to play a full season donning the team colors.

After a failed campaign, the Indiana Pacers could come back with a vengeance next season

On the heels of a playoff absence last season, the Rick Carlisle-led squad will certainly be hungry not only to come back on the postseason stage, but also make noise in the big stage. Time will only tell, but this campaign could be the the core’s last chance to make a compelling case as a viable contender in the much-fortified Eastern Conference.

Now, against much improved competition, can a healthier Indiana Pacers squad, armed with a new, decorated man on the sidelines and some new offseason additions, rise in the East? With the schedule now uncovered, we break the regular season down month-by-month.
