As the Indiana Pacers continue to struggle, the league-best Milwaukee Bucks come to Indianapolis. They may be without their MVP, but they are still an extremely tough match-up.

The slump continues. The Indiana Pacers have now lost six games in a row as the Milwaukee Bucks come into town. The Pacers’ second nationally televised game in a week will not feature the reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, due to the birth of his son, but it will be another tough outing all the same. The Bucks  are currently projected for at least 65 wins and are winners of 14 of their last 15.

There is not much to say. The Pacers can’t seem to put things together with a full roster. Monday saw them again hold a lead throughout the fourth quarter only to give it away at the end.  The lack of continuity has made the team play without any flow. Eventually they will right the ship, but doing so tonight is a tough ask.

Milwaukee is in the opposite boat. They are without a few players, but with their depth, they can more than handle the adversity. For most teams, losing a top-two player in the association would make them vulnerable, the Bucks aren’t like most teams. They are 5-0 in games Giannis has missed this season and are currently on track for the best point differential in the history of the league.

Every game in the NBA is a winnable game. That doesn’t mean every team is always playing winnable basketball. The way Indiana has been closing games has not been good. They will have to totally change their mindset if they want to come out on top tonight. There is a reason the Bucks are in the conversation for 70 wins.
