The Indiana Pacers continue their road trip out west with their first match-up with the Golden State Warriors of the season.

The Indiana Pacers are getting their first chance against this year’s rag-tag Golden State Warriors team tonight in the new Chase Center in San Francisco. Unlike the vibe that loomed over teams when traveling to Oracle the last few years, coming in across the Bay and leaving with a win feels much more certain now. There’s no Stephen Curry, no Klay Thompson, no Kevin Durant, no real resemblance of the juggernaut from just a year ago.

The Pacers come in two days removed from the thumping they doled out to the Phoenix Suns. Indiana never trailed in the game as T.J. Warren went off for 25 points on 11 of 18 shooting in his return to his former home. Unfortunately, Malcolm Brogdon left in the second quarter with yet another injury, something that continues to plague his first season in Indy.

Brogdon will miss the match-up tonight with a concussion with T.J. McConnell the most likely candidate to start in his place. McConnell really stepped up in the outing Thursday, finishing with 10 points and 11 assists off the bench.

On the other side, the Warriors have lost 12 of their last 13 games. They currently hold the worst record in the entire league and have shown little to indicate that will change. Expect a lot of high pick-and-roll action from D’Angelo Russell and maybe a few plays from veteran Alec Burks. Once a cheat code on offense, the Dubs now sit dead last in offensive rating.

The Pacers should be able to pick up their third win of this west coast road trip as they edge closer and closer to Victor Oladipo‘s return next Wednesday. Here is everything else you need to know:
