The Bogey game

2018 Eastern Conference first round, game 3

We’ve written the story of this game before, but Bojan Bogdanovic had himself a game against the Cavaliers, game three of the fantastic first-round series in 2018.

The game did not start out well for the Pacers. Cleveland led 57-40 at the half, but Indiana began to chip away, then Bogdanovic began hacking away, scoring 15 of his 30 points in the fourth, the most devastating of which came on three 3-pointers that shifted the momentum of the game to Indiana.

There was the one on the left that cut the deficit to 2 with 9 minutes left. Then there was one where he was knocked into the crowd that gave Indy the lead with 6 minutes left. That was followed closely by the one where the ball was kicked around until it found Bogdanovic in the corner to give the Pacers a 7-point lead with a little less than 6 minutes left. And finally his three he sunk from Zionsville with two and a half minutes left.

All-around heroic stuff from a player who had yet to fully endear himself to Pacers fans. That was no longer an issue after his 30-point, long-range bombing evening.
