Will the Pacers make the playoffs?

Medworth: I sadly don’t think they will. I actually think they may win their last four games and still not make it. There is just too much that’s out of their control right now. Losing the season series to the Celtics is going to haunt them in terms of this playoff race. With that said, it feels like this team with Paul George is a actually a 6 seed if not better.

Ochoa: Yes. They will find a way. I think the Nets will drop at least two of their next three games and give the Pacers an opportunity to sneak in as the 8 seed.

Lukach: No. The Pacers are one game back of two teams (Boston, Brooklyn) that both own tiebreakers against Indiana, and there are just four games left for each team. The Celtics do play the Cavaliers twice —but LeBron might sit out both games and the Cavs are 1-9 without the King. The Nets get to play the Magic and the Bucks. Meanwhile, the Pacers have to play the Thunder and the Grizzlies. The math of making up two games in that time just doesn’t add up for Indiana.

Bishop: No. After their second game winning streak, I thought they had the seventh or eighth seed in control but then they farted away next six games. Losing to the Nets and the Celtics twice in March worsened their chances insurmountably. Those two will lock up the bottom two. Plus with LeBron James sitting out against the Celtics this week curb stomps any last hope.

Washburn: No. I think the Pacers might sweep the rest of the season, but unfortunately, both the Celtics and Nets could do the same. Because of locked in seeding, all three teams will be playing teams that have little to gain by playing their key players. It would be a real shame for the Pacers to finish the season 6-0 with Paul George on the squad, but to me, it looks as if we’re headed that way.
