Each year, the NBA hosts an All-Star weekend in February that acts as a short break during the regular season. This weekend is filled with contests, such as the Slam Dunk Contest and the Three-Point Contest, and culminates in an All-Star game that Sunday.
The 2025 NBA All-Star Game is still a couple of months away, but the voting period is set to begin soon. For last season's All-Star game, which took place in Indianapolis, voting began on December 19. We can assume a similar timeframe for this season's All-Star voting as well.
For each of the last two seasons, the Indiana Pacers' only All-Star representative was point guard Tyrese Haliburton. Interestingly, the last time the Pacers had multiple All-Stars in the same season was in 2014 (Paul George and Roy Hibbert).
While not the only factor, fan voting plays a significant role in determining which players become All-Stars. Fan voting accounts for 50% of the equation, whereas NBA players and coaches make up the other 50%.
Here is how you can vote for your favorite Pacers to represent the team during the 2025 NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco.
How to vote for Pacers players for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game
Method 1: NBA website and app
Once the voting period officially begins, fans can vote for their All-Star selections on NBA.com and on the official NBA app. It is important to note that fans can only place one ballot every 24 hours until the end of the voting period.
Method 2: Social media voting
Every year, the NBA will announce a specific hashtag (usually #NBAAllStar) that will allow fans to place their votes on social media sites like X. By using the hashtag and a player's name, this counts as an official vote for the All-Star game.
Pacers players to consider voting for
After an underwhelming 10-15 start, the Pacers are in danger of having zero All-Star representatives for the first time since 2022.
Haliburton, who earned an All-Star selection in each of the last two seasons, is currently averaging 17.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 8.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Additionally, he is shooting 42% from the field and 33.6% from beyond the arc. While these numbers are solid on the surface, they are likely not good enough to land the Wisconsin native another All-Star appearance. There is still time for him to turn things around, however.
Pascal Siakam, the only other former All-Star on the team, is also unlikely to get in. He is averaging 19.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists while shooting 52.5% from the field and 41.1% from beyond the arc through 25 games. Still, he has arguably been the Pacers' most consistent player this season.
Beyond these two, there are no legitimate All-Star candidates in Indiana. The only other potential options are Bennedict Mathurin and Myles Turner, but even they are unlikely candidates at this point.
Regardless, the All-Star Game is all about the fans. If you want to see your favorite Pacers represented at the event, show them your support once the voting period officially begins.
