Tyrese Haliburton's hilarious post perfectly sums up how every Pacers fan feels

With the recent returns of Jayson Tatum and Dejounte Murray, who each missed a big chunk of time due to their Achilles injuries, Indiana Pacers fans are even more eager to see Tyrese Haliburton return from his injury.

But evidently, it's not just Pacers fans who feel this way as Haliburton himself recently took to social media to share his thoughts after Tatum and Murray's returns.

Tyrese Haliburton may come back better than ever before

If it's any consolation, Haliburton and Pacers fans have even more reason than before to believe he will come back better than ever once he does make his highly anticipated return.

In his four games since coming back, Tatum has recorded 19.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.3 steals while shooting 40% from the field in 28.3 minutes for the Boston Celtics. He still needs to find his jumpshot, and he still looks a bit slow at times (which is expected considering he was out of action for about 10 months), but for the most part, Tatum looks just as good as he did before the injury.

And as for Murray, he has looked fantastic since his return. In his eight games this season, the New Orleans Pelicans guard has averaged 19.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.8 steals while shooting 54.7% from the field and 35.1% from beyond the arc in 27 minutes.

In addition to Tatum and Murray, Isaiah Jackson made his return on opening night after tearing his Achilles last season, and he looked like he hadn't skipped a beat. (I realize it's ironic to say this considering that the Pacers just traded him last month, but that was more so because of his contract and the fact that they didn't really need him anymore with the acquisition of Ivica Zubac).

None of this is a guarantee that Haliburton is going to return to form right away, but fans should at least be hopeful with what they have seen so far.

The Pacers need Tyrese Haliburton in order to compete

Everybody knew the Pacers would take a step back without their star guard this season, but it's been even worse than expected.

With less than a month left in the season, Indiana is 15-53 and currently owns the worst record in the NBA. This comes not even a year after the team was just one win away from winning an NBA championship.

Haliburton's absence isn't the only reason the Pacers have struggled this much. The team has dealt with a ton of injuries to other key players throughout the entire season, and many players naturally went through their fair share of growing pains as they took on bigger roles. However, it's clear that they miss the Wisconsin native and his playmaking and overall gravity on offense.

Fortunately for them, they will get him back on the court before they even know it, and it may be enough for them to re-establish themselves as a legitimate title contender.
