The Pacers are a team that is very close to making the NBA Finals. They were a final four team this year after making the Eastern Conference Finals. They just need a little more help to get over the hump. In order to do that, they need to make some moves.

Pascal Siakam will be signing a max contract this offseason to retrun to Indiana. That will take up a lot of their cap space, especially now that Tyrese Haliburton's contract converts into a supermax. Because of that, trades might be the best way to improve the team in the offseason.

If the Pacers are going to make some trades, there are a couple of players who are the most likely to get moved. One player, who is a fan-favorite, is the most likely to get moved in a trade because of his value and because of his age as well. That player is T.J. McConnell.

If the Pacers are going to make moves, T.J. McConnell is the likely to be a trade piece. He has a tradable contract and he showed his value in the playoffs this past year. He still has a lot of good basketball left in him, and he's a player that offers a lot of value in the locker room.

The Pacers have said that they would like to keep McConnell if they can. If they are looking to get a third star to pair with Haliburton and Siakam, McConnell is likely going to have to be in that trade package. McConnell and some young pieces are going to have to be the centerpiece

What could he get traded for? That is yet to be determined. We'll see what kind of packages they can put together that will make the ceiling of the team higher.
