The Indiana Pacers' 4 longest winning streaks in history

9 games (twice): November 2, 2002 - November 23, 2002, October 29, 2013 - November 16, 2013

The longest winning streak in Pacers history is nine games, which the franchise has accomplished two separate times, roughly 11 years apart.

Indiana's first nine-game winning streak happened during the 2002-03 season. The Pacers lost their first game of the season to the New Jersey Nets before winning the next nine straight, starting the season with a 9-1 record.

During this run, they defeated notable teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves twice, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Orlando Magic. This winning streak came to an end in a 91-106 loss to the Detroit Pistons. Interestingly, the Pacers went on to win their following four games following the loss to Detroit.

On the year, the Pacers ended with a 48-34 record and earned the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference. They eventually lost to the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs in a six-game series.

Fast forward over a decade later and the Pacers earned another nine-game winning streak.

What makes this one interesting is it began right off the bat after the Pacers won their first game of the season against the Orlando Magic. Following that win, the Pacers won their next eight consecutive games. This includes wins over teams like the Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, and Brooklyn Nets.

The Pacers eventually lost to the Bulls by a score of 94-110 to end the streak. However, Indiana would go on a separate seven-game winning streak immediately after. The Pacers began the season with an 18-2 record. Eventually, they ended the season with a 56-26 record and earned the No. 1 seed. However, they lost to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals in six games.
