Many championship teams in the league have benefited from having a potent pairing. Every Batman has their Robin.

For instance, the Chicago Bulls had Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Even their adversaries in the 1997 and 1998 NBA Finals, the Utah Jazz, had their own in Karl Malone and John Stockton.

For years, the Los Angeles Lakers had Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal as their dynamic duo. Recently, we saw the Boston Celtics capture another NBA title with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

Last year especially, the Indiana Pacers established who their Bruce Wayne is: Tyrese Haliburton. But who is Dick Grayson on the squad?

While the roster has viable options to run the floor and light up the scoreboard, who will be the definitive second option?

1. Pascal Siakam

It's hard to imagine that after re-signing a veteran with both playoff and championship experience, that Siakam's name doesn't get brought up. Fresh on the heels of a four-year, $188 million dollar contract, the

The Pacers landed the former Toronto Raptor in a mid-season trade. Siakam posted career bests in three-point field goal percentage (38.6%) and tied his overall best field goal average (54.9%) with the Pacers.

Siakam became even more efficient on offense as he only averaged 1.4 turnovers a game. This has been his lowest since becoming a regular starter in the league. The eight-year veteran ranked in the top 35 among the NBA in points per game (21.7), rebounds (7.1), and field goal percentage (53.6%).

The big man from Cameroon made his Pacers playoff debut on the road against Milwaukee for a pair of road games. In both contests, Siakam scored at least 36 points and 11 rebounds or more. He ended up being a rebound shy of two more double-doubles in Games 3 and 4 at home in Indianapolis.

Despite losing to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals, Siakam posted two double-doubles in the four-game series. In Game 1, he had 24 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, while also putting up 19 points and collecting 10 rebounds in Game 4.

Running the pick and roll, connecting with one another on a fast break, or setting each other up for a shot behind the arc are all ways that Haliburton and Siakam found to light up the scoreboard. Siakam may be taller and older than Haliburton, but he still makes a great sidekick for the Pacers' All-Star point guard.
