After a lopsided loss in the series opener, the No. 6 Indiana Pacers were able to win on the road over the No. 3 Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night at Fiserv Forum, 125-108.

With Milwaukee missing star big man Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Pacers used their fast-paced scheme with efficiency, shooting 55.6% from the field and 44.4% from 3-point range to run past the Bucks in the second half.

Although Indiana was able to grab a win on the road before the series heads to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, the Pacers are still underdogs to the higher-seeded Bucks.

Pacers disrespected in latest series odds vs. Bucks

One week ago, the Pacers were even money (+100) on FanDuel Sportsbook to beat the Bucks in the first round. As of Wednesday morning, with a road win under their belt, the Pacers are -105 ($100 bet nets $95.24) to advance to the second round in the Eastern Conference bracket.

Though those odds carry an implied probability of 51.22%, the Bucks are still a small favorite in the series overall at -115 ($100 bet wins $86.96), which is an implied probability of 53.49% that Milwaukee moves on.

Part of the reason for the Bucks’ optimism is the potential return of Antetokounmpo, who has missed the first two games of the series and five contests overall with a left calf strain. Antetokounmpo was listed as doubtful prior to Game 2 and early indications point to him having a better chance to suit up in Indiana with two days of rest before Game 3.

Indiana is 5-2 this season against Milwaukee.

Pacers a small home favorite in Game 3

Indiana would definitely get some love and flip to a favorite in the series winner prices if they were to take a 2-1 advantage. The Pacers might be slight underdogs overall in the first round, but they are laying 4.5 points, according to FanDuel, in Friday night’s Game 3.

Indiana is 14-14-1 ATS as a home favorite this season but have struggled following a victory (20-26-1 ATS). Milwaukee has been one of the worst road teams for backers this season (16-24 ATS in away games), especially as an underdog (3-8 ATS).
