Trade #2 - Getting a young rookie

This trade is extremely similar to the first one, but in lieu of a second-round pick, maybe the Indiana Pacers ask the LA Clippers to throw in Kobe Brown instead.

Pacers receive: Kobe Brown, Mason Plumlee, Brandon Boston Jr.

Clippers receive: Daniel Theis

Brown was impressive in Summer League for the Clippers, so they may want to keep hold of him, especially with how tight they are going to be against the cap in the coming years.

In five Summer League games, Brown averaged 15.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.0 blocks while shooting 45.8% from the field and 43.3% from deep on 6.0 three-point attempts per contest.

The rookie has appeared in five games for the Clippers this year but is only playing 7.8 minutes per contest as LA looks to push for a championship.

Getting the 23-year-old back in a deal for Theis would be a steal for the Pacers, who find themselves in the middle ground of trying to compete for a playoff spot while also developing young talent.

Brown can play the three or the four and would be able to supplement the depth Indiana already has at that spot alongside the likes of Aaron Nesmith, Jarace Walker, and Ben Sheppard.
