Nearly a month away from the start of training camp, and there is still a lot of excitement regarding the Indiana Pacers ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season. They are fresh off their unlikely Eastern Conference Finals appearance, their first since 2014, and Pacers fans have a lot to look forward to for the upcoming campaign.

This summer, the Pacers re-signed Pascal Siakam, Obi Toppin, and James Johnson. Furthermore, they extended the contracts of two key players in Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell. They also brought in players who may contribute right away like Johnny Furphy and James Wiseman. Plus, with natural progression, the Pacers should be even better than they were last season.

There is no reason to believe the Pacers will not be firmly in the playoff mix in 2025. Additionally, while the odds are still stacked against them, for the first time in a long time, the Pacers have a chance to insert themselves into title contention with another deep playoff run.

Still, it is important to not get carried away. To get to the postseason in the first place, Indiana must have a successful regular season campaign. And with the team having nine nationally televised games next season, there will be more eyes on the Pacers than usual. This is an in-depth look at how to watch every Pacers game as they aim for another conference finals run.

Pacers season outlook and roster information

The Pacers are mostly running it back with the same team next season. However, the team will have Bennedict Mathurin back after he suffered a shoulder injury in March that sidelined him for the remainder of the season and the entirety of the playoffs.

This season, all eyes will be on Tyrese Haliburton and Siakam in their first full season together. Additionally, it is expected that Nembhard will receive a larger role after his contract extension.
