The Basketball Hall of Fame features the greatest players to ever play the sport. From the NCAA to the NBA or WNBA, as well as overseas contributions, the Basketball Hall of Fame has immortalized those who made their mark on the game since 1959. And, luckily for the Indiana Pacers, they have had their fair share of players receive this honor over the years.

Next year, there are some potential candidates for the Hall of Fame who Pacers fans should be familiar with (Mark Jackson, Detlef Schrempf, and Sam Perkins, to name a few), but for now, it is a good time to take a look at the players currently immortalized in Springfield, MA, who wore a Pacers uniform at some point in their career.

1. Reggie Miller (1988-2005)

Pacers career: 18 seasons, 1389 games: 18.2 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 47.1 FG%, 39.5 3FG%, 5x All-Star, 3x All-NBA

Arguably the greatest player in franchise history, it is no surprise Miller is in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Miller is the franchise leader in games played, field goals, three-point field goals, assists, steals, and points, among other categories. The California native is also an Olympic gold medalist and was an accomplished collegiate basketball player at UCLA.

For years Miller also held the NBA record for most three-point field goals made in a career. However, that record has since been broken by Ray Allen and Stephen Curry.

2. Tim Hardaway Sr. (2003)

Pacers career: 1 season, 10 games: 4.9 points, 1.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 36.7 FG%, 35.5 3FG%

Hardaway's Pacers career was very forgettable. The guard played the last 10 games of his NBA career with the team after signing with the team in March 2003 at 36 years old. Of course, Hardaway is not in the Hall of Fame because of his time with the Pacers, however.

The Illinois native built a fantastic NBA career as a member of the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat. Hardaway also had small stints with the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets before joining the Pacers.

3. Chris Mullin (1997-2000)

Pacers career: 3 seasons, 179 games: 9.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 47.2 FG%, 44.1 3FG%

The Warriors legend enjoyed a brief stint in Indiana toward the tail end of his career. In 1997, the Pacers traded for Mullin in exchange for Erick Dampier and Duane Ferrell. Ultimately, Mullin was solid with the Pacers, but he was far from the same player who was in MVP discussions.

4. George McGinnis (1971-1975, 1980-1982)

Pacers career (ABA and NBA): 7 seasons, 487 games: 19.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.8 steals, 46.2 FG%, 1975 ABA MVP, 2x ABA champion, 3x All-ABA

McGinnis is perhaps best known for his ABA tenure with the Pacers. However, he also enjoyed a stint in Indiana for a few years in the NBA, as well as with the Philadelphia 76ers and Nuggets.

After a few seasons away, the Pacers eventually re-acquired McGinnis from the Nuggets for another Hall of Famer.

5. Alex English (1978-1980)

Pacers career: 2 seasons, 135 games: 15.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 50.8 FG%

Arguably one of the most underrated scorers in NBA history, it is easy to forget that English, most known for his long-time Nuggets run, played for the Pacers very early in his career.

The Pacers signed English away from the Milwaukee Bucks in 1978. Though he was solid with the Pacers, the team traded him to Denver to reunite with McGinnis.

6. Adrian Dantley (1977)

Pacers career: 1 season, 23 games: 26.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.1 steals, 49.9 FG%

The Pacers traded for Dantley from the Buffalo Braves in 1977 in exchange for Billy Knight. However, a little over two months later, the Pacers flipped Dantley to the Los Angeles Lakers for James Edwards and Earl Tatum.

7. Roger Brown (1967-1974,1975)

Pacers career (ABA): 8 seasons, 559 games: 18 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4 assists, 47.1 FG%, 31.7 3FG%, 4x All-Star, 3x ABA champion, 3x All-ABA

Despite never playing for the NBA iteration of the Pacers, Brown remains one of the top players in franchise history. The New York native was regularly in MVP consideration and was a tremendous player in his prime.

Brown also played for the Memphis Sounds and Utah Stars of the ABA before rejoining the Pacers in 1975 and ending his career with the team.

8. Mel Daniels (1968-1974)

Pacers career (ABA): 6 seasons, 479 games: 19.4 points, 16 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.6 blocks, 48.3 FG%, 6x All-Star, 2x ABA MVP, 3x ABA champion, 4x All-ABA

Daniels was one of the first great Pacers in franchise history, if not the absolute first. He was dominant in the ABA and remains one of the most successful Pacers players in history. Daniels also played for the Minnesota Muskies, Memphis Sounds, and New York Nets in his career.

9. Gus Johnson (1972-1973)

Pacers career (ABA): 1 season, 50 games: 6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 44.1 FG%, 1x ABA champion

Johnson began his playing career with the Baltimore Bullets of the NBA. Additionally, after a brief stint with the Phoenix Suns in the 1972-73 season, the Ohio native left the NBA entirely to end his career in the ABA with the Pacers. With the Pacers, he won the only ABA championship of his career.
