Of all the former Pacers players on this list, Oshae Brissett has easily had the best year from a basketball perspective.

Last summer, Brissett left the Pacers after three years to join the Boston Celtics. With Boston, the Canadian native made it to the NBA Finals and won his first career NBA championship.

Earlier in the offseason, Brissett declined his player option with the Celtics, making him an unrestricted free agent. However, though he has not been signed to a new contract yet, it seems that we can expect an update on a potential new contract soon.

In a recent video on his YouTube channel, BrissyTV (YouTube link), Brissett spoke about his free agency. Though he acknowledged a return to Boston is still on the table, the wing said he is currently "talking to some teams."

"I’m still a free agent now, talking to some teams. You guys will all see, obviously, when it happens, where I end up. But, you know, that’s full transparency, man. Like, at the end of the day, that’s what it comes down to," Brissett said.

"I loved every single part about being a Boston Celtic. And, you know, I could go back. Who freaking knows? The door is not closed fully. It’s like, it’s like right there, but it’s not closed fully."

Regardless of where he ends up, the 2024 NBA champion is in a great spot in his basketball career. However, from a statistical standpoint, his Pacers time has easily been the best of his career so far.

With the Pacers, Brissett averaged 8.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He became a fan favorite during his time in Indiana due to his high-energy style of play. Hopefully for Brissett, he finds success wherever he takes his talents next season.
